EDUCATION:He had his Primary Education at Baptist Primary School. He then proceeded to Government Secondary School where he had his Secondary Education. For his Tertiary Education, he studied at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and later went to University of Abuja.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: Prior to becoming a member of the house of representatives, he was veterinary research officer from 1992 to 2006. He later got elected into the house of representative from 2007 to 2011 and another tenure of 2011 to 2015.

In the 2015 elections, he again re-contested for the federal house of representative under the platform of the all progressive congress(apc) and won to represent kontagora/wushishi/mariga/masheg federal constituency.

It is worthy to note that he has as his legislative interests the development of the marine, customs, education, aviation and the army. In line with this, he targets to achieve legislative development.
