EDUCATION: He attended G.S.S AZARE where he obtained O LEVEL Certificate in 1971. He later gained admission into Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where he studied and obtained a B.Sc in Accounting in the year 1979. He then proceeded for his post graduate studies in the University of Maiduguri where he earned his MBA in the year 2000.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: In the year 2015, Adamu Gurai was elected into the Federal House of Representatives, to represent the Shira/Giade Federal Constituency of Bauchi State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
