Hon. Akinlaja Iranola Joseph is an indigene of Ondo State. He is a member of the Federal House of Representative representing Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency.

EDUCATION: He attended Ondo Grammar School where he obtained his West Africa School Certificate. he then proceeded to Yaba College of Technology where he obtained his Ordinary National Diploma(OND) in 1979. He also got a certificate in Labour relations in 1992 and a certificate in Management from the London Management Centre in 2015.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: Prior to becoming a member of the House of Representative, he was a Laboratory Technician and also did Industrial Relations Practice.

In the 2015 elections, he contested for the Federal House of representative under the Platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and Won to represent Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency.
