Biography Of Albert Adeogun

Hon. Albert Abiodun Adeogun is an indigene of Osun State. He is a member of the
Federal House of Representative representing Ife Central/East/North/South Federal Constituency.

OCCUPATION: Politician

EDUCATION: He attended Ife Oluswa College Education Grammar School where he obtained his West Africa School Certificate in 1968. He proceeded to the University of Ibadan where he had his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 1980. In 1984 he got his Masters in Political Science from the same Institution. He thereafter went for a second degree in Law from the University of Ibadan and obtained an LL.B in Law in 1988. He further attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1989.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: 

Due to becoming a member of the Federal House of Representative, he was an Executive Officer, he worked with the Federal Ministry of Finance from 1969 to 1977, he was also Controller of Nigerian Customs from 1981 to 2004.

In the 2015 elections, he contested for the Federal House of representative under the Platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Won to represent Ife Central/East/North/South Federal Constituency.

ACHIEVEMENTS: He has as his Legislative Interests Education, Child Rights and Human Rights. In line with this he targets to Improve The Lives Of The Ordinary People Who Have No Say Or Influence In Governance
