He started his professional league football debut with Crown in 2012/13 season, later signed for rivalry team Shooting Stars F.C. in 2013/14 due to his great performances. He also played for MFM FC in the Nigeria Premier League 2014/15 season . Salam Atilola is presently playing for Manzini Sundowns F.C. in the Swazi Premier League He was invited to the Nigeria U-17 in 2012. He was on the verge of joining Benfica at the age of 15 but the deal was unable to work out due to him been under age.
