Dafe Akpedeye became a lecturer at University of Lagos in 1985. When in the United States, Dafe Akpedeye practiced with White & Case Law Firm, Avenues of Americas, New York. Back in Nigeria, Dafe Akpedeye is the founder of Akpedeye & Co. He is currently a lecturer at Delta State University.
