Biography Of Ibrahim Abdullahi

Biography Intro: Ibrahim Abdullahi is a Nigerian politician who was elected Senator for Sokoto East, in Sokoto State, in the 9 April 2011 national elections.

DATE OF BIRTH:January 1, 1953

EDUCATION:He attended Government Secondary School, Gusan where he obtained his West Africa School Certificate in 1973, he proceeded to Advance Teachers College, Sokoto where he got his National Certificate of Education(NCE) in 1976. In 1981, he bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the University of Sokoto in 1981. In 1989, he attended Loton College of Higher Education, United Kingdom and obtained an Advanced diploma in Accounting. He also attended the Institute of Cost and Executive Accountants and got the Membership of the Body.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: Gobir began his career with the Ministry of Communication, and then joined the Nigerian Television Authority in Sokoto.

In the 2015 elections, he contested for a seat in the Sokoto SouthSenatorial District under the Platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and Won.
