Biography Of Jimoh Abdul

Hon. Jimoh Olajide Abdulraheem is an indigene of Lagos State. He is a member of the Federal House of Representative representing Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency.

OCCUPATION: Politician

EDUCATION: He attended Government Secondary School where he obtained his West Africa School Certificate in 1982. He thereafter Obtained a Higher National Diploma(HND) from the Federal College of Marine Technology in 1987. He also obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Management from Lau tech, Ogbomosho in 2010.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: 

Prior to becoming a member of the House of Representatives; he was Chairman-Yaba Local Council from 2008-2014; a Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly from 1999 to 2007; Councillor in 1990; Secretary, Community Development Association; Chairman, Public Accounts Committee, Lagos State; a Clerk at Duchess Nigerian Limited in 1988; Supervisor at Total Nigeria Limited in 1989; Executive Manager at Afribank Nigeria Plc from 1994 to 1998.

In the 2015 elections, he contested for the Federal House of representatives under the Platform of the All Progressive Congress(APC) and Won to represent Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency.

ACHIEVEMENTS: It is worthy to note that he has as his Legislative interests Oversight function-Marine, Finance and appropriation; Quality representation and Law making for welfare of the people. In line with this, he Targets to be a fantastic and a qualitative frontline legislator.
