Biography Intro: JOHN DYEGH born December 2, 1962, is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency of Benue State on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

EDUCATION: He obtained West African School Certificate from Mbawuar Secondary School in 1980. In 1982, he completed an ND program at the Murtala College of Arts Science and Technology. In 1995, he obtained ADPM/PGDM from Benue State University. He further studied and obtained Masters (2002) and Doctorate (2011) Degrees in International Relation and Economic History respectively at the Benue State University.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:  In the year 2011, John Dyegh was elected into the Federal House of Representatives to represent Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency of Benue State on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

Dyegh contested for a second term and retained his seat, following the announcement of March 28th National Assembly election in the 2015 General Elections in which he polled 67,463 votes to win his opponent, Bernard Nenger of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) with 26,329 votes. His Legislative Interests border on education and poverty reduction. He targets to create job opportunities for the people of his constituency.
