EDUCATION: He attended katagum primary school where he obtained First School Leaving Certificate in 1977. He moved to Government Secondary School Azare and had his Senior School Certificate obtained in 1982. He then attended kaduna Polytechnic and graduated in 1989.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: After leaving the academic institutions, Omar Tata became a High Agricultural Superintendent. He also served as the Special Adviser of the governor of Bauchi State, a position he held until 2003.

PUBLICATIONS:

In the year 2015, Omar Tata was elected into the Federal House of Representatives to represent the Zaki Federal Constituency of Bauchi State of Nigeria under the platform All Progressives Congress (APC). As a legislator, he targets to always fulfill his legislative duties.
