Dr. Yunus Abiodun Akintunde is a Nigerian Businessman and politician from Nigeria. He is a domain expert in Energy and environment. He is currently the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Trade Codes Limited, a building construction, real estate, energy and environmental consultancy services firm.

Education

Dr Yunus Akintunde had his nursery and primary education at Ansar-Ud-Deen Model Primary School, Balogun, Oyo town and his secondary education at Oranyan Grammar School, Oyo town school, before relocating to Lagos to complete his education.

In furtherance of his Education, he proceeded to Ibadan Polytechnic where he got his National Diploma certificate in Physics and Electronics. Thereafter, he proceeded to the Lagos state University, LASU, where he bagged a BSC (Hon) in Physics. In the same Lagos State University, he obtained a Masters in Public Administration (MPA).

Later, he went to University of Ibadan where he got an MSc in Energy studies. In the same university of Ibadan, he obtained a PhD in Energy and Environment.

Politics

He began his political career at the inception of the third republic in 1999; he was appointed commissioner, in Oyo State Civil Service Commission (between 1999 and 2003). He was the Commissioner for Works and Transportation Oyo State, Nigeria between August 2011 and November 2012 and served as an Executive Assistant to the governor of Oyo State, Nigeria(Abiola Ajimobi) between April 2014 and May 2015.
