Biography Of Tahir Mamman, SAN

Dr. Tahir Mamman is the former Director-General of the Nigeria Law School. Before his appointment as the school’s DG, he was the deputy director of the Kano campus of the institution, and also one time Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Maiduguri. The law school celebrated its 50th anniversary during his tenure as DG in 2013. He was bestowed Order of the Niger (OON)

Dr. Tahir Mamman was born in Adamawa State of Nigeria. He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he acquired his first degree and had his second and third degree in Warwick University, England.

Dr. Tahir Mamman, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), is a unique citizen. He is Dan Ruwata, Adamawa Emirate Council and Dokaji Mubi Emirate Council. He is Garkuwan Nkafa. These are titles that only a humble man can be given.

He is an intelligent vibrant person, who always wants to change things for the better. He is a philanthropist; an elderly man that reaches out to the other group for understanding and cooperation.

Dr. Tahir Mamman is friendly; he is always loyal to the state and spends his time and energy in one way or the order in contributing to the growth of the nation, economically, academically, socially and politically. He is a star amongst his equals. Here is a man that is humble, corrupt free, an agent of change, a symbol of progress and prosperity, an ambassador of peace.
