Biography Of UMAR JIBRIL

Umar Buba Jibril (born 1960) is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Lokoja/Kogi/kk Federal Constituency of Kogi State under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

EDUCATION He attended Government Secondary School Koton-Karfe and obtained West African School Certificate in the year 1979. He later obtained Masters Degree from the University of Jos in 1990.

OCCUPATION: Umar Buba Jibril worked as Principal Architect, Works & Maintenance Department of FUT, Minna. He also worked with the Federal Ministry of Works & Housing.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: In the year 2003, Umar Buba Jibril was elected as a member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, a position he held until 2007. In the year 2015, he contested and won election as a member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Lokoja/Kogi/kk Federal Constituency of Kogi State under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He has a general legislative interest, while he targets to provide best service to self and country.

Umar Buba Jibril is the Dama of Lokoja as well as the Madauci Koton-Karfe.
