NAME:Umar Rofia Muhammed

DATE OF BIRTH:1965

PLACE OF BIRTH:Niger State.

EDUCATION: He attended Borgu Secondary School, nibussa where he obtained his West Africa School Certificate in 1973. He thereafter obtained a Grade Two Certificate in 1976. In 1986, he proceeded to obtain a Diploma in Primary School Administration.

Thereafter in 1991 he got a National Certificate of Education from Federal College of Education.

CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: Prior to becoming a member of the House of Representatives, he was a teacher for about Fifteen Years. He later became an Adult Education Coordinator and Chairman on Committee on Agriculture from 2007 to 2011.

In the 2015 elections, he contested for the Federal House of representative under the Platform of the All Progressive Congress(APC) and Won to represent Agwara/Borgu Federal Constituency.
