It was a time when Nigerian rappers could rival their American counterparts in terms of skill. Records have been sold and the history must be told. This is a peek into the Nigerian hip hop sounds of the 90’s.

The sad truth is that Nigeria’s great emcees of the past are very easily forgotten. No thanks to the largely sanguine music followership in Nigeria.
