This 1 year work is obligatory and a Medical Doctor should do it inside 2 years of graduation or his permit will be repudiated until the point when he composes another exam which is set by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

The following are the pay structure of Nigerian Doctors on Housemanship;

Doctor dental practitioner – N170,000 – 180,000

Drug specialist – N140,000-N145,000

Physiotherapist – N140,000 – N145,000

Med lab – N120,000
