Moji Olaiya is an actress, the most famous films are “Sade Blade” (2005), “Nkan adun” (2008) and “Omo iya meta leyi” (2009). Moji began acting in the movies rather late, having on hands an 8-year-old child and actually taking care of her daughter all by herself. Thanks to the actress Bukky Wright Moji got acquainted with the crew while shooting the film “Super Story” – it was her first movie. In “No Pains No Gains” she played the role of Ireti.

The actress continued the career with the debut Yoruba film, headlined “Agunbaniro”. That performance showed, that acting in “No Pains No Gains” was not a mistake. Moji received awards for her diligence in Nigeria and abroad. She was nominated as the Best Supporting Actress of the year for the Reel Award (2003). Moji also won the Best New Actress award. According to the actress, it motivates her to starring in films.

Olaiya married Bayo Okesola in 2007, then separated. She converted to Islam in 2014.

Olaiya died on May 17, 2017, from cardiac arrest in Canada, where she had her second child exactly two months prior. She was finally laid to rest on June 7, 2017 according to Islamic rites
