V Festival  was invented in 17 August 1996 

V Festival, often referred to simply as V Fest or VF, was an annual music festival held in England during the third weekend in August. The event was held at two parks simultaneously which shared the same bill; artists performed at one location on Saturday and then swapped on Sunday.
